With Florida State down by 4 points and 10 seconds on the clock, they let Michigan dribble the clock out instead of fouling them and forcing them to make foul shots.  After the game FSU head coach, Leonard Hamilton, was asked about the decision to not foul.

Hamilton was having none of it.  He came very close to walking out on the interview.  Hamilton responded to the question by saying, “the game was over.”

Hamilton wasn’t wrong.  He’s seen enough basketball to know that in the vast majority of times the fouling at the end of the game doesn’t work.  But with a chance to go to the Final Four you have to try everything.
