What a moment

Texas Longhorns guard Andrew Jones, who was diagnosed with leukemia back in January, returned to action on Tuesday night against Eastern Illinois for the first time since the diagnosis.

Jones played 9 minutes of the second half and recorded a rebound, an assist and a point.  His point came on a free throw that received a loud cheer from the fans at the Frank Erwin Center.

Following the made shot, Jones was taken out of the game and cheers continued as he made his way to the bench.

Not exactly a triple double, but considering it has been less than a year since he was diagnosed with leukemia, Jones has to be very happy with the performance.
