Justin Verlander took to Instagram live from the American League’s dugout during the All-Star game.  While he was sharing the dugout experience Verlander told Aaron Judge that he was going to hit a home run.

That’s just what Judge did.  He smashed a 399 foot solo homer off of Max Scherzer in the second inning.  The home run ended up in the bullpen, where Judge’s teammate Luis Severino caught it.

Nobody was happier about the home run than Verlander, who celebrated his called shot with Judge in the dugout afterwards.
