Kirk Cousins’ days in Washington appear to be over after the Redskins traded for Alex Smith.  Although you never know with that franchise.  They still could franchise tag Cousins in an attempt to then trade him and get something for him.

In the meantime guys are attempting to recruit him to their team.  The latest attempt came from Arizona Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald, who ran into Cousins at the airport and made his pitch on behalf of the Cardinals.

Cousins seemed to be impressed with Fitzgerald’s recruiting skills, calling him a great recruiter in an Instagram post of the two at the airport.

“Ran into Fitz in the airport yesterday. He’s a GREAT recruiter!”

The quarterback carousel will really start moving once Cousins finds a home.
