Lindsey Vonn announced last week that she would be retiring from skiing. She said in her announcement that she would compete at the World Championships in Downhill and Super-G and that they would be the final races of her career.
Tuesday’s Super-G didn’t end the way she had hoped. Vonn’s final Super-G of her career ended in a crash.

Despite the hard landing on the crash, Vonn didn’t take the sled to the bottom of the hill. She instead made her way down the hill under her own power.

Vonn seemed to be okay following the crash and talked what happened leading up to the end of her final Super-G race.

The final race of Vonn’s career will be on Sunday in the downhill. No matter how that race ends she’ll go down as the best female skier of all-time.
Don’t be too worried about Lindsey, she already has a pretty good career after skiing lined up.
