Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw shutdown the Braves on Friday night. He went eight innings only allowing two hits on 85 pitches.
Kershaw could have very easily finished the game, but was taken out after his hamstring tightened up. He was hit in the hamstring earlier in the game on a hard hit comebacker.
Roberts revealed after the game why he decided to have Kenley Jansen finish the game. According to the Dodgers manager, Kershaw's hamstring tightened up.
Kershaw isn't too concerned, but if the hamstring stays tight then he could run into some issues for his next start.
