Mariners pitcher Felix Hernandez struck Adrian Beltre out with a curveball and made him look really bad in the process. He then laughed at him and told him to sit down.
Hernandez broke at least two unwritten rules in the process. Beltre didn't seem to mind being laughed at and even joined in on it himself.
The Rangers would get the last laugh as they roughed Hernandez up for 7 earned runs in six innings and another loss. He is now 8-10 on the season with an ERA of 5.73.
The Mariners are fighting for a spot in the postseason and are going to need King Felix, not the current version of the former ace.
