The Miami Marlins front office is reportedly getting another former Yankee. According to reports, former Yankees catcher Jorge Posada is expected to join the Marlins front office as a special advisor to Baseball Operations.
Posada, a Miami resident, is teaming up with his good friend and Marlins part owner and CEO, Derek Jeter. The two won five World Series titles together as part of New York's "Core Four."
The process of turning around the Marlins is going to take time. There isn't a magical switch they can flip to start piling up wins.
It's a process, but they have some good people, who know what it takes to win taking over. It's only a matter of time before they start contending in the National League.
