Seattle Mariners left handed pitcher James Paxton, who is Canadian, no hit the Blue Jays in Toronto.  He struckout seven and walked three in just 99 pitches.

Paxton had plenty left in the tank at the end of the game and hit 98, 100 and 99 MPH with his final three pitches.

After the game, Paxton admitted he was just throwing the ball as hard as he could.  Lots of fastballs.

It worked.  As with any no hitter, there is always a spectacular defensive play mixed in.  During Paxton’s on Tuesday night, Kyle Seager made that play in the bottom of the 7th.

What a great play.  There’s no doubt that Seager took a hit away.  Paxton owes him a Canadian tuxedo.
