Tim Tebow has fully recovered from the hamate injury that ended his season early last year.  That’s good news for the former football player turned Double A All-Star.

According to new Mets GM Brodie Van Wagenen, Tebow will likely begin the 2019 season in Triple-A.  Although he didn’t rule out the former Heisman Trophy winner making the Mets Opening Day roster.

As good as September call up would have been last season, Tebow making the Mets Opening Day roster would be amazing.  Not because a former NFL quarterback made the team, but because this team made the World Series just a couple of years ago.
