The Detroit Tigers responded to news of Aretha Franklin’s death by giving her some “R-E-S-P-E-C-T” on their scoreboard.  A picture of Franklin with the title of her legendary song were on display at the stadium.

The 76 year old, Queen of Soul, passed away on Thursday morning at around 9:50 a.m. at her Detroit home due to advanced pancreatic cancer.

Expect plenty of Franklin’s music to be heard at Comerica Park next Tuesday when the team plays their next home game, including one of her biggest hits.
