That name was born to play in the Majors

Vlad Guerrero enters 2018 as one of the premier prospects in baseball. He ranks third on both Baseball America and MLB‘s list of the Top 100 Prospects behind only Ronald Acuna and Shohei Ohtani.

Last night, the Blue Jays lost to the Cardinals, 5-3, in an exhibition game played at Olympic Stadium, the longtime home of the Expos.  In the seventh, Guerrero entered the game, replacing Yangervis Solarte at third base. The Crowd went nuts.

Having just turned 19 during Spring Training, Guerrero is still extremely young as well. So even if the Blue Jays opt to keep him in the minors for all of 2018, time isn’t going to be a major factor.  His dad must be proud. You know you're getting old when players you watched growing up already have kids in the league.
