Yankees second baseman Gleyber Torres hit his 24th home run against the Red Sox on Saturday.  It was a record breaker in more ways than on.

Torres’ 4th inning two-run shot set the single season record for home runs by a team.  It was also the 20th homer hit by a 9th place hitter in their lineup, making the Yankees the first team to hit 20 or more home runs from every spot in the lineup.

The Yankees are heating up at the right time as they prepare to host the American League Wild Card game.
