Floyd Mayweather Sr. sat down for an interview with the Mayweather Boxing Channel and was asked whether or not he thinks his son will be fighting in the UFC.  The elder Mayweather says he thinks it’s going happen.

“The way it looks, I thinks so.  I don’t know what the legacy is because as of now, he has enough money and he’s got enough to live until his life runs out.”

Just because he believes that his son will be fighting Conor McGregor in an octagon, doesn’t mean he thinks he should.  Floyd Sr. doesn’t think it’s a good idea to fight in an MMA fight and wouldn’t advise him to.

“As his trainer, no, as his father, no.  I want him to have all the money he’s got.  The money he’s got, he’s got enough money.  Look here, it’s crazy money, man.”

The money will be crazy and we’ll all be tricked into watching McGregor dismantle Mayweather.  That does sound like an entertaining night.
