Odd day in Detroit

The Detroit Pistons announced on Monday that Stan Van Gundy would not be returning to the team as the team’s President of Basketball Operations and head coach.  A move that seemed to come out of left field.

Shortly after the news broke Andre Drummond took to social media and reassured Pistons fans that he wasn't going anywhere.  A possible reference to being the center of trade talks throughout Van Gundy's tenure.

Drummond would later take to Twitter and formally thank his former coach for everything he put into the team over the past four years.  His true feeling he kept in his Instagram story.
