Looks like there was some false reporting going on when reports surfaced about how much Blake Griffin was ordered to pay in Child Support.

Griffin and Cameron cleared that up on Friday, releasing a joint statement disputing that report.

Details of that agreement were not made public. According to a TMZ report, though, Griffin is paying Cameron $32,000 per month.

No, Blake Griffin is NOT paying $258k per month in child support — he’s only paying a fraction of that … TMZ Sports has learned. As we previously reported, the $258k figure that’s being reported is wrong — but sources tell us the NBA star is still cutting a significant check to Brynn Cameron, the mother of his 2 kids. The number, we’re told, is $32,000 per month … which adds up to $384,000 per year. It’s no sweat for Blake, who recently signed a 5-year, $171 million contract.

Griffin seemed to dispute the initial report on Twitter on Thursday night, too, tweeting a GIF of Stephen Colbert.

You can’t believe everything you read, but I must confess, the story was a lot funnier when he was dishing out over 3 million a year. Now it’s just meh.
