Charles Barkley said that Adam Silver needs to step in to prevent Anthony Davis from getting traded to the Los Angeles Lakers.

“Adam Silver needs to block that trade. I don’t like what the Lakers are doing. I don’t think it’s right. Rich Paul got mad at me because I said a month ago, I said, ‘Oh the fix is in. Anthony Davis is going to the Lakers.’ This was before all these rumors started. He didn’t like me saying the fix was in. The fix has been in,” stated Barkley on “Inside the NBA” on Thursday night.

Barkley then made his final point, adding that “we cannot have agents and players colluding to stack super teams”.

Davis’ camp let it be known that their intention was to sign with the Lakers in free agency after next season and that any potential deal would be a 1-year rental.

Players are signing contracts then using the last year to demand a trade to a stacked team, genius.

Charles sounds like he doesn’t like the Lakers very much.
