Andrew Polk, a stand-up comedian from Ruston, La., tweeted a death wish about Warriors forward Draymond Green before deleting the tweet. Not sure what's his beef, but there wasn't much to laugh about after his tweet, which of course he deleted.
Tweet regret is very high with tweets that are unfunny and violent. Here is his initial tweet that sparked the outrage. He probably immediately regretted posting.
“If he feels the need to do something like that about basketball, then I feel bad for him. It’s kind of sad that someone would take this that serious. When you’re talking, at the end of the day, what’s a game. Making death threats, talking about life. I just pray that he gets the help that he needs.” -- Draymond Green
Then the unfunny comedian reactivated his account, and tried his best to apologize to Draymond Green for his awfully unfunny tweet. Guess what, the apology wasn't funny either. For a comedian, this guy better work on a new tone for his material.
His edgy humor is awful, and this hopefully will be his wake up call that there's no place for him in the comedy world. If his goal was to secretly get known for being a loser, mission accomplished funny man.
