Isaiah Thomas only played in 15 games for the Cavaliers before being traded to the Lakers.  Before he has even landed in Los Angeles his agent, Aaron Goodwin, is making demands.

Rachel Nichols read a text message on “The Jump” from Thomas’ agent that was written in all caps and made it clear he has no intention of being a backup.

“HE IS NOT COMING OFF THE BENCH”

There’s only one problem with that, Lonzo Ball is the point guard in Los Angeles, and Thomas isn’t likely to start over him.  It would appear as if Thomas is trying to force the Lakers into buying out his contract.

If he does get a buyout, who would want him on their team?  He was in the middle of all the drama in Cleveland and now he’s pulling this stunt on the Lakers.

Not to mention the fact that he puts up a ton of shots and plays no defense.
