Former NFL GM turned NFL expert, Bill Polian, said on Golic and Wingo on Monday morning that Heisman Trophy winning quarterback, Lamar Jackson, should switch positions to receiver.

Polian called Jackson an exceptional athlete who clearly isn’t the thrower the other quarterbacks in the draft are.

“Exceptional athelete, exceptional ability to make you miss, exceptional acceleration, exceptional instinct with the ball in his hand and that’s rare for wide receivers.  That’s AB, and who else?  Name me another one, Julio’s not even like that.  Clearly, clearly not the thrower that the other guys are.  The accuracy isn’t there.”

Clearly not the thrower.  Back to back seasons of over 3,500 yards must have been due to his exceptionally gifted receivers.

Polian would follow those comments up by calling Jackson’s 6’3″ 2ll lbs frame “short and slight.”

Are we sure Polian was watching the right film when he thought he was watching Lamar Jackson’s?  Or did he even watch it at all?
