The Cleveland Browns are reportedly shopping running back Duke Johnson.  They have multiple teams interested in a trade, but are waiting for the proper compensation.

The Browns are also waiting for the NFL to hand down Kareem Hunt’s suspension for a physical altercation with a woman at a hotel.

According to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com, the suspension could be less than expected.  The fact that Hunt missed the final five games of the season last year after being released by the Chiefs could work in his favor.

They’ve also been waiting for word from the NFL office on the length of running back Kareem Hunt’s suspension, which will impact their decision. That announcement could come at any time, and the suspension might not be as long as some people expect, considering Hunt sat out the last five games of last season after the Chiefs cut him.

The NFL better think long and hard about this suspension.  If they hand down a suspension to Robert Kraft that is longer than Kareem Hunt’s, then they should just cancel the Super Bowl the next year.

The Patriots will use it to their advantage and take another championship by force.
