Reports that several teams have asked Lamar Jackson to workout as a receiver hit on Friday morning. Not everyone thinks the Heisman Trophy winning quarterback should switch positions.
Eagles defensive end Chris Long tweeted out support for Lamar Jackson, saying that asking him to workout as a receiver is insulting.

Long is spot on. Nobody who has the talent Jackson has and the desire to play quarterback should be happy about teams asking him to switch positions.
Long also makes the point that if you draft him as a quarterback and it doesn’t workout, you can still find out if he can play receiver.

It’s really hard to believe a QB of his skill level would be asked to switch positions and be happy about it.
