Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said on Wednesday, the Cowboys will not be allowed to stay in the locker room for the National Anthem.  According to Jones, their policy is to stand for the anthem "toe on the line."

Obviously this didn't sit well with everyone, including some Cowboys fans.  At least one fan responded to Jones' comments by burning his Cowboys gear.

Jones, on the other hand, probably thinks this helps the Cowboys standing as "America's team."  If anything his comments will only create more conversations about National Anthem protests.

Unfortunately, this may never end.  And that's the exact opposite of what the NFL wants.
