Free agent quarterback Johnny Manziel took to Instagram to thank those concerned with his hospitalization on Monday night.  He also explained how he ended up there in the first place.

Manziel blamed the hospitalization on a reaction to an increase in the dose of his Lithium prescription for his bipolar disorder.

It's still unclear what the reaction was and why it required Manziel to be hospitalized.  It might be a little concerning to teams thinking about signing him.

The reaction to the increase in meds isn't concerning itself, but the fact that he needed the increase in the first place might be.  That would seem to indicate the original dose wasn't as effective as it had been previously.
