Franchise QB taking his lumps

The Cardinals opening drive ended in a touchdown for the Broncos.  Rookie quarterback Josh Rosen threw a pick six after he had a pass batted up in the air at the line.

Throwing a pick six on the opening drive is exactly how you show the teams that passed on you in the draft that they made a mistake.

The Cardinals night was nothing but downhill from there.  They dropped to 1-6 on the season with a 45-10 loss.

It looks like they will be a strong contender for the first overall pick in next year's draft.  They already have their franchise QB, maybe they can draft a new team.
