Redskins left tackle Trent Williams left Cowboys stadium in an ambulance shortly after Washington’s 31-23 loss to the Cowboys on Thanksgiving.

Williams, who was listed Williams as questionable with a broken and dislocated thumb, left Thursday’s game in the second half and did not return.

According to Pro Football Talk, Williams was taken to the hospital for precautionary reasons after leaving the game with a chest injury.

The team said Williams was taken to the hospital for precautionary reasons. Kareem Copeland of the Washington Post reports that Williams got hit in the chest on the play he departed.

It’s never really a good thing to leave a football game in an ambulance, but leaving in one without its lights on for precautionary reasons is the way to go given the option.

Redskins fans are hopeful Williams won’t have to miss anymore time with this latest injury.
