Terrell Owens Slams Jason Garrett as the Problem in Dallas - Sports Gossip
TO still being TO

Soon to be inducted Hall of Famer Terrell Owens stated in a recent interview with SiriusXM NFL Radio that he believes the problem hasn’t been the players but rather the coaching staff led by head coach Jason Garrett.

“When you look at since I left in ’09, nothing has really changed. You think about the great players that are coming in and out of that organization, it can’t just be all players. Wade Phillips was the head coach when I was there. I think the year before I got released, Garrett was the offensive coordinator. For whatever reason, Wade was fired and Garrett got put into that position. Up until a couple of years ago, his record was pretty much identical to Wade’s. So, in my mind, Garrett should be fired if that’s the case. I think that pretty much has been the Achilles heel for the Cowboys because you can’t keep using the players, or player, as a scapegoat as to why you are not succeeding.”

This isn’t the first time that Owens has called for Garrett’s job as he stated earlier this year that the former NFL Coach of the Year hasn’t lifted up the franchise to a standard that would warrant him keeping his position.

Terrell still thinks he can play at a high level in the NFL, so his thought process may be a little skewed. That being said, only a matter of time before the Ax falls on Garrett's head.
