The Texans lost more than the game on Sunday to the Eagles.  In the fourth quarter receiver Demaryius Thomas was carted off the field after suffering what is believed to be a ruptured Achilles.

Via Pro Football Talk:

Texans receiver Demaryius Thomas tore his Achilles on Sunday, John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Thomas will undergo further medical evaluation to confirm, but an Achilles tear is one that is easily diagnosed.

The non-contact injury occurred on the first play of the fourth quarter.

That’s a big loss for the Texans.  They’re going to need someone to step up and help out DeAndre Hopkins if they want to make a run in the playoffs.
