The Cowboys attempted to trade for Seahawks safety Earl Thomas before the season.  They offered a second round draft pick in an attempt to land the Cowboys fan.

According to Ian Rapoport, the Cowboys are hoping to take Thomas back to Dallas with them.  They're hoping the trip to Seattle can spark new trade talks for Thomas.

They tried to trade for the star safety before the season, offering a second-round draft pick to try to make it happen.

While the two sides have not spoken since before Thomas reported to the Seahawks to begin the season, there are several people inside the Cowboys organization who hope Sunday's game will serve as the impetus to begin conversations again.

Thomas has made it clear that he's still a Cowboys fan and would love to play in Dallas.  It's all about what the Seahawks want in return.  A second round pick is a pretty good offer.
