The Tennessee Titans backed up the Brink’s truck for offensive tackle Taylor Lewan.  They made him the highest paid offensive lineman in NFL history.

Lewan signed a 5 year $80 million deal with $50 million guaranteed.  The Titans announced the deal on Friday.

Sometimes holding out actually works.  Lewan, who skipped mandatory minicamp earlier in the offseason, is one of those cases.

The Titans need to do all they can to make sure they keep their franchise quarterback, Marcus Mariota, protected.  Making his best offensive lineman happy is a pretty good start.
