Los Angeles Kings defensemam Derek Forbort took a skate to the ear and had to leave the game for some medical attention. He wasn’t gone long as he only missed a few shifts before returning to action.
Forbort returned with a gauze packed ear that likely required a few stitches to repair. Good thing too as the Kings would need everyone to contribute to the win in overtime.
