The Pittsburgh Penguins have made an annual tradition out of surprising season ticket holders with their tickets. The best part is they have players personally deliver them.
On Monday a few players, including Sidney Crosby made the rounds. They didn't just handout the tickets and leave. They hung out and played a little street hockey with the kids.
This is how you make fans for life. Not to mention the fact that the kids got to skip school too. Don't worry, Sidney had them covered and even wrote them excuses for their absences.
More professional sports teams should do these kinds of things with their fans.
