AUSTRALIA’S FIBA World Cup qualifying match against the Philippines erupted into a vicious all-in-brawl on Monday night as coward punches, kicks and chairs were thrown in wild scenes at the Philippine Arena, south of Manilla.

The nasty brawl was sparked when Boomers guard Chris Goulding was sent to the floor with a heavy shove with four minutes left in the third quarter.

A long delay followed as officials from FIBA and both countries engaged in a discussion with the score in Australia’s favor 79-48. The match continued after nine Philippino players were ejected from the game along with four Australians.

Philippine players then deliberately fouled so they were forced to leave the court and the game was called off. Great game fellas.
