Two North Carolina softball teams were disqualified from a youth softball tournament in Kingsport, Tenn., after a brawl broke out between the parents. Video of the brawl shows adults throwing punches, rolling on the ground and one man kicking another in the fight.

The teams were competing in the 12-and-under tournament sponsored by USA Softball.

According to the Kingsport Times News, there were no reported injuries or arrests. The two teams were disqualified.

“It’s a shame this had to happen,” Todd McLemore, athletic program coordinator for Kingsport’s Parks and Recreation Department, told the Times News.

The report says that McLemore said the teams were the East Wilkes Cardinals and the Blue Ridge Explosion. Both are from North Carolina.

McLemore told the paper that some Blue Ridge parents got into a verbal confrontation with some East Wilkes parents, then someone was shoved, then the brawl began. That’s how it always starts. People talk way too much crap.
