PGA golfer Nick Watney was forced to withdraw from the RBC Heritage after testing positive for COVID-19. He played the first round on Thursday without any problems after initially testing negative for the virus.

On Friday Watney developed symptoms and tested positive. He will now be in isolation as the PGA implements its response plan.

It was bound to happen at some point. As long as Watney's able to stay isolated and recover then everything should be fine. Golf is one of the most social distancing friendly sports there is.
