Western Michigan’s Davon Tucker was attempting throw a block on a kickoff and ended up being stretchered off the field. He can be seen lowering his head attempting to block and taking a huge shot to the side of the head.
The hit dropped him and he remained face down on the field until the medical staff made it out to assist him.
It’s the second time in two days that a college football player was stretchered off the field after apparently being knocked out cold. Hits to the head are part of the game, but so many can be avoided if you learn to keep your head up.
