36-year-old accountant and emergency backup goaltender Scott Foster made his NHL debut last night after injuries forced the Blackhawks to put him. Foster ended up making seven saves to preserve the Blackhawks’ 6-2 victory and steal the night in Chicago

Talk about an emergency goalie situation, and it worked out great for the Blackhawks. That’s why it’s always important for your backups to have backups.

Here are some of the funnier tweets about Foster the accountant. This guy is already an instant legend in Chitown.

I wonder if this is already being greenlit as the next Hollywood sports movie. I mean Rudy was on the field for about 7 seconds and he got a feature length film out of it. This is really an awesome story!
