49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan confirmed what GM John Lynch said about the Tom Brady rumors. They considered signing the former Patriots quarterback and decided to stick with the younger Jimmy Garoppolo.
The 49ers were very much in the running for Brady and were the ones that turned him down. They’re really hoping sticking with Jimmy G was the right move.
