The Seahawks and 49ers delivered on Monday Night Football. The back and forth game was close throughout and ended with a Seattle field goal in overtime.
Prior to that San Francisco had a shot at a game winner in overtime as well. After Russell Wilson threw a terrible interception in the red zone early on in overtime, rookie Chase McLaughlin missed a potential game winning kick badly.
McLaughlin, who was signed after an injury to the 49ers starting kicker during the week, wasn’t up for the challenge with the game on the line. The kick was so bad it ended up in the tunnel.
