The 49ers traded for pass rusher Dee Ford earlier in the off-season, then made him one of the NFL’s highest paid players by giving him a 5-year, $85 million deal. He is expected to provide a much needed boost to San Francisco’s pass rush.
Ford has been dealing with knee tendinitis recently and received a PRP injection that is expected to keep him off the practice field for at least a week. The 49ers aren’t concerned about the injury.
