On Wednesday morning running back Melvin Gordon’s holdout was made official. His representatives informed the Chargers that he will not be reporting to training camp.
Gordon is seeking a new deal and wants to be traded if he doesn’t receive one. The Chargers are reportedly willing to call his bluff and the showdown is now on.
The 26-year-old also made the holdout official on social media by unfollowing the team.
