Zion Williamson’s first game in the Smoothie King Center won’t technically count, but he came to play in the New Orleans Pelicans’ lone preseason opener.
The high-flying, electrifying rookie forward paced the Pelicans with 26 points in 23 minutes of play in New Orleans’ 128-127 win over the Utah Jazz.
