Suns center Deandre Ayton is facing a 25 game suspension for violating the NBA’s anti-doping policy. The substance he reportedly tested positive for was a diuretic.
Ayton called the suspension an “unintentional mistake” and he reportedly plans to work with the player’s association to fight it.
Shortly after news of the suspension, the former number one overall pick released a statement.
