The Jaguars announced on Wednesday night that they have fired executive vice president Tom Coughlin.
The decision to part ways with the 73-year-old former head coach was reportedly made back in the fall and was supposed to take place after the season.
Losing the $99k grievance to running back Leonard Fournette is said to have played a role in accelerating Coughlin’s departure.
