Former NFL quarterback Vince Young made his ballet debut as Mother Ginger in Ballet Austin’s performance of “The Nutcracker.”
The 35-year-old former first round draft pick embraced the role.

Mother Ginger, the comical matriarch of the “Bon Bons” family, is being played by a different Austin celebrity each night.
She is typically played by a man because the “Bon Bon” children are hidden under her giant hoop skirt so the actor who plays her needs to be tall.
Life after football can get a little weird sometimes. It looks like Vince has finally found his calling.
