49ers cornerback Richard Sherman struggled during the Super Bowl loss to the Chiefs. He was never going to be able to cover Tyreek Hill one-on-one, not many can, but he wasn’t able to cover Sammy Watkins one-on-one either.
Sherman was burned badly by Watkins on a critical play in the fourth quarter. He then was unable to tackle Damien Williams on Kansas City’s go ahead touchdown.
After the game Sherman sent a tweet out owning his poor performance in the Super Bowl.
