According to Shawne Merriman, Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton believes that Tom Brady will join the Los Angeles Chargers during free agency.
The Chargers announced they are moving on from Phillip Rivers so they will be in the market for a new quarterback this offseason.

Merriman has heard what Newton has said, but doesn’t think that is what will go down.
The former Chargers standout jokingly said he hates Brady, and thinks Newton would be the perfect guy to take over the starting job.
