Floyd Mayweather Says the New Year’s Eve Fight with a Kickboxer is Back On

TMZ Sports caught up with Floyd Mayweather on Wednesday night in Beverly Hills as he was spending some money on jewelry.  According to Floyd his fight, which he describes as a boxing exhibition, with Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa is back on.

We talked to Floyd Wednesday night as he left Peter Marco jewelry in Beverly Hills … and he told us the fight is very much alive.

“We’re gonna make it happen.”

Question is … is it boxing, kickboxing or MMA?

“Rules? It’s gonna be a little boxing exhibition. No kicking,” Floyd told us … “I’m moving around with the guy for 9 minutes, and of course it’s gonna be the highest paid exhibition ever.”

It sounds like Mayweather is legitimately concerned about the 20-year-old kickboxer.  Why else would he repeatedly insist that it’s an exhibition?

If he loses this “exhibition” it’s going down as an official L in our book.  It doesn’t matter how many times Mayweather says it’s an exhibition.

Let’s hope he gets his face bashed in.
