Texas softball pitcher Miranda Elish was back in the Longhorns dugout on Saturday for the third game of their series against Alabama. She was there for moral support after taking a thrown ball to the face on Friday night.

Prior to the game Longhorns coach Mike White shared a picture of Elish with a smile on her face and obvious swelling as a result of being hit with the ball.

That’s one tough young lady. Hopefully she’s able to recover without any long-term issues, although her season is probably over.
