The Houston Rockets are reportedly interested in Jimmy Butler. There’s just one problem, they don’t have the cap space to sign him as a free agent.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski, they have another plan. They want Butler to attempt to force a sign and trade from the Sixers.

If Butler is successful in forcing a sign and trade with the Sixers, then the Rockets will likely be shaking up their starting five after all. That’s something they said they wouldn’t be doing this off-season.
It wouldn’t be the first time a team’s off-season priorities changed. But it would likely mean a significant piece would be headed to Philly.
